myClosingCost is a free closing cost calculator for US residential real estate. It estimates transfer taxes, recording fees, title insurance, and agent commissions for any US address. The calculator is free to use. No account is required to calculate costs. Creating an account (using Google Sign-In) lets you save and compare multiple properties.
Closing cost estimates are for informational purposes only. They are based on our best available data for transfer tax rates, recording fee schedules, and title insurance rates across all 50 states, but rates can change, and some jurisdictions may have local rules that differ from our database. Always confirm final figures with a licensed title company, settlement attorney, or real estate professional before closing.
If you choose to connect with a real estate agent through myClosingCost, you select which agents to contact and initiate the connection by clicking a contact button in an email we send you. We do not share your name, email, or phone number with any agent until you click that button. Each click is a separate, intentional action on your part. You may contact multiple agents or none at all — there is no obligation. Once you click, your name and contact method are shared with that specific agent only.
Agents listed on myClosingCost are licensed real estate professionals who have agreed to our Agent Service Agreement. myClosingCost verifies that agents provide a valid license number but does not independently audit agent performance, reviews, or transaction history. We encourage you to verify an agent's license status through your state's real estate commission website before engaging them.
Consumer accounts are created via Google Sign-In. We store your email address, name, and profile photo as provided by Google. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@myclosingcost.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. We do not share your contact information with agents unless you explicitly click to connect with them. We do not call you, send you unsolicited marketing emails, or share your information with mortgage lenders, insurance companies, or any party other than the specific agent(s) you choose to contact.
The closing cost data, calculator logic, and website content are the property of myClosingCost, LLC. You may use the calculator for personal, non-commercial purposes. Systematic scraping of rate data, calculator results, or agent information is prohibited.
myClosingCost is not a licensed real estate broker, title company, or legal advisor. Our service is informational. To the maximum extent permitted by law, myClosingCost, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on our estimates or from the conduct of agents you connect with through our platform.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after that period constitutes acceptance.
